or limit a class like

Yes, % seems best.
Since you have to assume that the server is not going to be 24/24 all the time, so the limits could be useless half of the time when it's not full.

Percents would be cool but a flat out restriction on certain characters for certain maps would work well too. I've played on Orange X maps where the sniper limit is 2 and that seems to work pretty well.

Dustbowl should have a limit of 2 Engineers. We've already screwed over the original spawn time (me like), and more than 2 sentries are impossible to keep down past the first stage.
Orange X should never have more than 33.34% snipers. 12 players/team = 4 Snipers. Same for Floodzone.
If you're gonna make the thing, then just make one a limit of 33.34% over all the classes. That way we're never dealing with more than 4 of any class (when the server is full). And another one where its 2 per class, no percentages.

omfg double post. I hate doing this, but where's this plugin? I'm getting sick of the pyro infestation on EVERY map. It should have ended weeks ago, but they keep coming in packs of 5 or more.

Agreed, nothing is more annoying that a bunch of people thinking they kick ass because the only thing more broken than a pyro is lots of pyros.

Spy? What is this spy class you speak of? Oh you mean the class I enjoyed playing the most until the n00b pyros came. Yes I play pyro a lot but mostly to pwn the idiot pyros who don't know how to play the class correctly. That is most satisfying. Oh and on OrangX when snipers are going crazy I'll pyro the crap out of them. Either that or I use scout to kill them. Used to use spy but not anymore. If tthey change anything on the spy I would most like his gun to be made more accurate. that way you have a little of an advantage over shotguns and pyro guns when shooting from a distance.

yea that would be a good idea since everyone is going pyro/soldier and at orangeX they need it for sniper's becuase one time when i was on there wa like 6 snipers
