The game as of yesterday is now pronounced dead and I would like to leave off some notes for the fair well of AvP 2:
To the game that had me playing the same map for over six hours a day running around sniper getting 800-900 kills over and over I say this:
Thank you for being there for when I had nothing better else to for you showed me what it takes to be a clan leader, how to manage a server to keep most people happy, and for bringing me such a good community until people started calling people witches hackers.
I will miss the old days as it were just like high school when we had all the good clans come together like DTH, Voodoo, 666, EPC, SUN, and some others I forgot.
I wanna give my last shout outs to those who have played with me and the clan, to:
Liquid Snake, Annihilator, Obliterator, StaFForD, Echo, Bandit, Viper Sniper, X, Raz, F8, Rasputin, Amy, PulaDan Kulaman, Dictator, Yaujita Lanu, Jeff, and many more that I can't really think of.
Looking back on seeing how bad the game is compared to others, it still had some things that most games don't like the classes mainly Aliens, Marines, and Predators, and it also brought the community and taught how to ban a person by their IP address since theres no damn option to even ban someone.
I will have more to say later but I ask all of you to leave a message like mine for those of you who have played the game and those of you who haven't to just sit back and relax to read some funny stories as we are now like old farts reminiscing the old days that are now gone.

yano, thats really kinda sad to think about... Its the first game i really started playing online with...
i kinda miss it now that its gone. No matter how bad the game was, it was still our game... and yes, Compound every day/night and it never getting old was amazing.
I miss the days of us in the server trying to own each other
I also want to thank Dom for giving me the chance to be apart of this great clan through that game.

R.I.P. Avp2 , The only computer game i have ever or will ever have installed on my pc.
The ghosts only ever added to the game, made the suspense of who was going to win each fight greater. and yeah <3 compound, Stronghold, and Jungle. It seems even though all of us are leaving that they have already made a new master server / mod or whatever. Who Knows maybe years from now we will all have a little game rusty and ghosty as shit. All of this nostalgia makes me kind of sad that I missed out on what sounds like a hell of a game. I love the Alien movies, I love the Predator movies. I'm kind of iffy on the Alien vs. Predator movies, but they'd make for a hell of a multiplayer.

So it's finally gone...
...wow a lot of feelings left for that game.
For the shitty game it was we milked all the fun we possibly could out of it. It's too bad the game died so quietly instead of in an all out {TD} AVP2-COMPOUND-FINAL-DEATHMATCH-2008!!
I loved this game not for what it was but for what it brought together, friends.

I agree. It is so sad its almost hard to swallow, even though we all saw this day comming. Its still painful to watch it go. It really did bring so many of us together. It was my first real online game I ever played outside of starcraft. Even though we worked so hard to get good at it, we did it for the sake of increasing our entertainment value of a very low budget game. But you can tell that the makers of the game made it with heart, and its no suprise that same heart is reflected in those who loved it like we did.
I'll never forget all (ahem*some*) of our inside jokes we shared. Or games we would play on compound or depot where it would be almost silent because we're all racing to the top of the scoreboard. ns, gf, and (#) ghosts were the three words that dominated the chatbox.
But I agree with dom that this game is like a video game high school, at least for me. Where I became a part of one of the finest communities (for those of us with some shade of sanity) of friends who looked forward to seeing eachother everytime we got on. Because killing random n0obs makes me sleepy... So RIP AVP 2 PH, and cheers to all my clan buddies and friends.
I do have one reget however. I never got to play the pred melee alchohol game! GODDAMN IT!!

Obvoiusly since I haven't been on I haven't been able to pay my respects.
The best memories I've got are trying to take dom out with a runner (how can a sniper move so much in a damn corridor?!?!!)
And fighting f8,8tails, and Raz-K , pouncing through the air and getting hit by a remote bomb from the other side of the map (still don't know how you pulled that one off Raz you bastage, but it worked well and was hilarious xD).
This old girl lived a good life with lotsa happy memories, hopefully Sierra wont sit around on this franchise and will actually make an AVP3 like they planned to back in...what 2006? -mumbles- oh well, RIP AvP gone but not forgotten.
