I'm new.
I have been playing on the TD TF2 server for the past few weeks, after joining my brother (Doc Brown) who had connected randomly from the valve server list one day. There is a pretty good mix of skill levels there which makes it a fun server to pass time. Also, the civilian heavies don't mind if I perch on top of them while I shoot their teammates -that's always refreshing.

ha. I do like playing other classes. The most rewarding for me is the spy, but until i build a better team relationship with the main players I find it's easier & more helpful to my team if there is at least 1 skilled offense class (pyro just happens to be the one that fits my personality). I'm still learning who plays what class well on TD, and I find the pyro is a good starting point to learn how other people play.
plus, it's always funny to listen to people complain about how "the pyro's gay", "the pyro takes no skills to play", and so on... but they always seem to voice the opinion from beyond the grave after they were burnt to death.
The other night on TD there was a big cry fest over the pyro from the opposing team because Doc Brown and I were playing a pretty aggressive defense using pyros. The funny thing was that once the teams switched and we were attacking, I played spy and sapped the life out of 2 engiee's who had built all of their stuff in the same location. They both just stood there trying to knock them off as I ran up and down to each of their items resapping in full view. They didn't say a single word to their team the whole time and ended up losing everything. and guess what the first thing out of their mouth was... "Why aren't the pyros doing a spy check?!" "Where are the F***ing pyros?!" that made me laugh really hard since one of them was the biggest complainer about how worthless the pyro is.
I'm sure you'll see me switch it up from time to time.

I don't really mind pyros if they kill me and live, but if I've killed you and slowly burn, that's just annoying. But hey, that's what pyros are for.
