Ah, Cyanide and Happiness is generally good for a laugh. I don't follow it regularly but when I do check it I'm rarely disappointed. Dr. McNinja's pretty awesome as well, but I'm way too far behind to even begin catching up. As for other good comics: - XKCD is one of those "everybody's heard of it" webcomics, but for those of you who haven't, check it out. Randall Munroe is a genius.
- MS Paint Adventures contains some very nice comics based on user suggestions. Jail Break and Bard Quest were two failed experiments, but you may want to read through what there is of them as they're kind of amusing. With Problem Sleuth Hussie perfected his technique and the story finally reached its end near the start of this year. Homestuck is the latest adventure and it's turned out to be very interesting so far!
- Darths & Droids is a comic based on the premise of "What if the Star Wars movies were a Dungeons & Dragons campaign?" It drags on sometimes but there are a few pretty funny moments.
- Surviving the World takes a unique approach to the usual webcomic format: the author writes/draws something on a chalkboard and photographs himself next to it. I haven't been reading it long, but from what I've seen I enjoy it.
- Dawn of Time is an interesting little story about a cavewoman by the name of Dawn. The art is simply amazing! Most of the early pages say so much while using almost no words!

No, BUT FUCKIN 8-BIT THEATER SURE IS. Although if you haven't started the 1184 page archive is a bit of a turn off, but so very worth it. There's also this: http://www.archivebinge.net/ which gives you a few managable chunks of whatever comic you want daily, so you can catch up in no time. Dr. McNinja's pretty awesome as well, but I'm way too far behind to even begin catching up.
It takes maybe an hour and a half of dedicated reading to catch up. Just fucking do it.

I lost my bookmarks when I moved to a new computer back in August or so and I forgot to include that one in my new set of bookmarks! It looks like I've got some catching up to do! That Archive Binge site looks rather handy; I'll register and check it out later. Dr. McNinja's pretty awesome as well, but I'm way too far behind to even begin catching up.

[/quote] Ah, but when your free time is erratic you never know if you'll actually have the time to finish--you know what, forget it. I have tomorrow off both jobs, I'm totally going through the Dr. McNinja archives then. Hey, I mildly like CAD and VGCats....

Get. The fuck. Out. Now. I will say that VGCats does have its moments, but it's largely hit-or-miss. I was neutral towards its existence until a member of another forum I visit started posting the "miss" comics on a regular basis and tried to convince us all that they're actually funny. That has forever ruined the comic for me, but as I doubt you two have had to deal with similar circumstances I guess there's nothing to gain in telling you that I dislike the comic. :| Ctrl-Alt-Del, though? Seriously, guys? I was going to type a detailed response to this, but it's getting kind of late. See: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Tim%20Buckley and http://www.explosm.net/db/files/Comics/Dave/tim-actually-said-this.png and http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u320/LBO_photos/CAD2.gif and http://echochamber.me/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=23214 and http://lostinthecosmos.wordpress.com/2008/05/29/you-cad/ for the information I was going to convey and then some.

For me it was when he decided to update once every two months that it reached the "fuck it" point.

So, Tim is a douchebag in real life, and there's a large bandwagon against him. Congratulations. I still find CAD to be funny

As do I. His self-proclaimed reign over the internet doesn't quite jive with me though. That's reserved for Yahtzee. I also dislike the semi-seriousness that has arisen out of it.
