There I was, in the BLU spawn of Surf_Akai.
A few other folks lazing about in the spawn, most of which wearing the Ghastly Gibus. I look around at the spawn and walk over to the exit. I see a ramp below me, and said "HUH HUDDAH HUDDAH!" and WENT ON DOWN THE SLOPE A-ZIP-ZOP-ZOOBEDY-BOP!I looked back up at the BLU spawn and noticed a few stray Heavies and Pyros getting blasted out by what was more than likely an angry Soldier or Demoman with a lucky !RTD roll. I shrugged and decided to move on with this map.
I looked forward, I was on a small platform with a 10 second long maze, at the end of it was a door. Of course, having nowhere else to go, I waltzed on in, completed the maze rather easily, found myself at the door. I went "When in Rome", and jumped in. I then found myself on a high up small balcony, being able to jump and hit the ceiling. I looked below and saw the ramp was a large U-Turn. I hopped down onto the ramp, barely able to keep myself on it, and went forward in the surf. As I zoomed on by, I saw large pillars having symbols such as "OMEGA", "PI" and other strange symbols.
I reach that surf, I looked to my left and saw 4 doors. In order from left to right, CT, J, ^, T. I chose ^ and was above my spawn. I saw 4 large pillars on the roof, and 2 platforms jetting from the edge, I jumped, and found myself sliding down to a large square on the wall, with the word "AKAI" above it. I smack into the wall and found I was then teleported instantly to a much crazier ramp. Of course, I slide for about 10 seconds, screw up my jump, and land on the floor sending me to the dreaded... JAIL. *Dun dun dunnnn*...
I find myself in a labyrinth of Orange and Grey, hearing scouts scream "NEED A DISPENSER HERE! NEED A TELEPORTER HERE! NEED A SENTRY THERE!", I decide I should investigate. I waddle around for a few seconds and find myself under fire from a level 3 sentry. I try in vain to duck for cover, but t'was no use. I was being shot at by a Wrangler. Eventually, the rockets gibbed me, sending me back to my spawn. After which, I saw at the top of my screen, and I saw the time left was 30 seconds.
It was an interesting time.
